Back to the Future: Sustaining your nonprofit in the decades ahead
Wednesday, May 24, 5:00pm The Library Arts Center opens its annual board development up to any and all working on boards to better the greater community. Ellen Koenig, seasoned nonprofit board trainer will explore key questions that every board member should be asking themselves about their organization, for planning now and into the future. Bring your questions and experiences as we discuss the real-world situations we face, discuss possible solutions and learn from each other.

This event will include light dinner at 5:00pm right before the presentation starts.

The Library Arts Center Board of Directors is opening up its annual development to all other members of other boards for organizations and nonprofits in the region in hopes that this opportunity can help not just the Arts Center, but many other boards at the same time in ways that only strengthen our greater community.

ellen kEllen Koenig is a senior consultant for Full Circle, bringing a wide array of nonprofit sector experience.  Her background includes managing high profile statewide projects, designing  effective learning approaches for boards and nonprofits, working with grantees and donors and building key relationships.Ms. Koenig has been involved with the nonprofit sector for over 30 years, including directing a $5 million organization, designing and building philanthropy programs for the state’s largest Foundation, building sustaining networks of donors, advisors and board members, and creating programs for nonprofits and board members to find the resources and tools they need.Ms. Koenig’s areas of focus include:

  • Strategic planning and facilitation for organizations large and small
  • Stakeholder engagement through surveys, focus groups and interviews
  • Communications Audits to insure consistent and effective brand messaging

Board service has been a central part of Ms. Koenig’s career, and she has held leadership roles on the boards of Leadership NH, CONFR, NH  Women’s Initiatve,  Concord Trust for the Enhancement of Public Education, and the Circle Program.
