The rain passed by, and the sun welcomed more than 300 people to the Library Arts Center’s gallery on Friday evening for the “Peeps Party” to showcase entries from the Arts Center’s 5thAnnual Peeps Diorama Contest.  Visitors enjoyed viewing the 100 clever dioramas featuring Peeps marshmallow bunnies & chicks, nibbling on Peeps-themed refreshments such as chocolate-dipped Peeps & a famous cake that appears annually named “Peep-zilla”, as well as roasting Peeps s’mores in the parking lot.  The Peeps panel of judges deliberated long and hard about the dioramas to receive the top prizes, but finally narrowed it down to the following winners.

There is still time to see these incredibly creative, light hearted and silly dioramas on display in the Library Arts Center’s gallery.  The entries from the Peeps Diorama Contest will be on display through Saturday, April 2nd during gallery hours (Tues.-Fri. 11am-4pm & Sat. 10am-2pm).  The show is FREE and open to all.  Visitors can vote for their favorite diorama to receive THE PEEP-LES CHOICE AWARD.  The winner of this award will be announced at the close of the show on Saturday, April 2nd.
