Roy G Biv Exhibit – Selected Artists

Thank you for entering your work into the juried community exhibit, ROY G. BIV, at the Library Arts Center. We appreciate your involvement and your interest.

We had an outstanding response to our call for entries, and therefore there were twice as many entries as the gallery can hold for this show!  We were delighted with the interest, but sorry that space constraints limited the number of entrants and pieces that could be included in this show.

This show will run Saturday, May 4 through Thursday, July 25, with an opening reception Friday, May 3, 5-7pm.  We would love to have you, your family and friends at the opening reception!

Drop-off for pieces accepted for the exhibit will be Fri. Apr. 26, 11:00-4:00pm and Sat. Apr. 27, 10am – 2pm.

**If you are not able to drop your work off during these times, please make an appointment now to drop them off before these dates. 

All accepted works must be labeled with artist’s name, address, title of work, medium, price and be “exhibition ready” for hanging or display.  Unsure of what “exhibition ready” means?  Please click HERE.

The Library Arts Center will provide inventory forms for each artist to sign at drop off; details on exhibition included on that form are listed below.

We encourage you to fill out the inventory form before you arrive, if at all possible.  Click below for a printable Inventory form to drop off with your artwork.  If you don’t have a printer, know there will be some copies you can fill out in the gallery upon drop-off.

* Each piece displayed in the gallery is insured by the LAC for 70% of its sale value up to $2,500. Pieces that exceed this value will only be insured up to $2,500 in value.

* All pieces in this exhibit are expected to remain on display for the duration of the exhibit, per Library Arts Center policy, artwork is not to be taken out of the gallery early by the artist, or by a purchaser.

* Pick up of work will be on dates AFTER the close of the exhibit: Friday, July 26, 11am-4pm and Saturday, July 27, 10am-12pm.  Artwork included in this exhibit must remain on exhibit for the duration of the show and may not be picked up early.

* Artwork prices set by artists should include the 30% commission to the Library Arts Center. Artists will be paid for sold works at the end of the exhibit.

All participating artists are encouraged to attend the opening reception if possible.   We hope to see you there!  The opening is free and open to the public, and we encourage you to invite friends, family & fellow artists. There will be refreshments and live music at this community celebration of your creative work.
