We’re taking you back… way back to the 1950s/60s/and 70s and bringing to mind your favorite vintage/retro TV series from the era! Think I Love Lucy, Gilligan’s Island, Mr. Ed, Bewitched, Dragnet, Get Smart, Green Acres… the “vintage viewing” possibilities endless! Whether your favorite retro TV icon is Samantha Stevens, The Professor, Maxwell Smart or Walter Cronkite, you’ll enjoy delicious food, vintage cocktails, and bidding on hundreds of getaways, items and services from generous local businesses. This year’s theme: RETRO/VINTAGE Television “Vintage Viewing”
Join us for a sensational evening, filled with vintage television-themed games, cocktails, and so much more, to benefit two outstanding community arts organizations. The Sunshine Town Social is a vibrant evening of bidding & socializing to benefit & provide critical support for the programs of the Newport Opera House Association & Library Arts Center. We appreciate your attendance & thank you for your support! This year’s theme is inspired by your favorite retro/vintage television shows from the 1950s/60s/& 70s!

$45 per person – Main Floor— Dinner Seating — Includes hors d’oeuvres, full dinner, dessert, coffee + Auctions (advance tickets only)

A NOTE ABOUT GROUP SEATING: **Seating for dinner is in tables of 10. If you plan on sitting with a group, please ensure that your reservations are made together when calling the Newport Opera House Box Office or reserving online.

$15 per person in advance/$20 at the door – Bistro Seating: Dessert + Auctions
“Bistro Seating” is non-reserved, and ticket holders may sit at café tables around the perimeter of the hall, and overflow into the balcony area as needed. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Bistro ticket holders may bid in both the silent & live auctions. Arrive to the Opera House between 6:15-6:30 to bid in the silent auction, grab a drink from the cash bar & have dessert. Bistro seats may also be purchased the evening of the auction.
