Dioramas on Display:  Mar. 28 – Apr. 9

Diorama Drop-off:  March 24, 25 and 26, 11:00am-4:00pm
Diorama PICK UP:  Fri. April 10 – 11:00am-4:00pm + Sat. April 11 – 10:00am-12:00noon
Please NOTE: Any dioramas not picked up by Sat. April 11 will be disposed of.

Closed Sundays and Mondays

Free to enter the contest, and Free admission to see the dioramas.
All ages are welcome to participate.

The Library Arts Center Gallery is hosting this fun, springtime tradition using the iconic Easter Candies: PEEPS® ! This annual favorite contest welcomes community members of all ages.    Make an original shoebox-sized diorama with the iconic Easter candies—PEEPS®!—as the main characters.    Community members of all ages, businesses, school classrooms, groups & organizations are all encouraged to enter.  Take cues from current events, pop culture, or clever “PEEPS®”  puns—just get creative!

How to Enter the Contest

The 15th Annual – New Hampshire’s Original PEEPS® Competition

Create a unique diorama using PEEPS® marshmallow candies as the main characters.  Take cues from history, current events, pop culture, politics, trends, art & more! We particularly enjoy entries that have a creative play on the word “PEEPS®”.

Diorama Drop-off:  March 24, 25 and 26, 11:00am-4:00pm

Diorama Dimensions/Size Limit:

While there are no specific criteria for minimum or maximum diorama dimensions, we appreciate those dioramas kept to the size of a shoe box or boot box to ensure that we will be able to accommodate the maximum number of entries.  *We highly recommend making your box “open-top” to help facilitate more light and better viewing! 

Entry Criteria:

Entries will be judged based on the following criteria:

• a creative & original concept

• creative use of and/or manipulation of peeps

• artful design

  Prizes will be awarded in the following categories:

  • BEST IN PEEPS® Grand Prize Award 

  • The Coveted “PEEP®-les Choice Award”

  • Adult Category (1st, 2nd, 3rd Prizes)

  • Family Category (1st, 2nd, 3rd Prizes)

  • Children’s Category (12 & Under) – (1st, 2nd, 3rd Prizes)

  • Teen Category (ages 13-17) – (1st, 2nd, 3rd Prizes)

  • Group/Business/Organization Category – (1st, 2nd, 3rd Prizes)

This favorite annual adults-only event gives grown-ups a fun time to socialize and take a closer look at the PEEPS® Dioramas while enjoying local brews from Protectworth Brewing and hors d’oeuvres from the Old Courthouse Restaurant. PLEASE NOTE:  Our first batch of tickets that included a Souvenir Pint Glass have SOLD out, but we have opened up a limited number of additional tickets that do not include the pint glass.  Advance tickets only. 21+
