New Sessions of Teen Art begin this Friday! ✍🏼 New Sessions of Teen Art begin this Friday! ✍🏼

Session One: Focus on Drawing
Fridays, Jan 23, 30 Feb 6, 13, 20 (5-wk session) 3:30-6:00pm
Library Arts Center Studio (Lower Level)

In this five-class series, teens will build a foundation in drawing while developing their own creative voice. Through guided lessons in line, shape, value, texture, composition, and simple perspective, students learn to see like artists and translate what they see to the page with confidence.

Each class includes a short warm-up to build skills, a clear, structured main project, and a choice-based prompt period where students can explore their own ideas. Sessions end with supportive group sharing to encourage reflection, constructive feedback, and a sense of creative community. All levels are welcome—beginners will feel supported, and more experienced teens will be challenged to deepen their practice.

Just a few days left to help us meet our MEMBERSHI Just a few days left to help us meet our MEMBERSHIP MATCH!

All memberships will be matched (and new memberships will be double-matched) up to $15,000 thanks to a generous match gift from the Roy M. Malool Family Foundation Fund.

With rapid-fire changes going on at the state and national level to arts funding, our funding landscape has quickly and drastically changed over the past year. With your help, we can maintain our exceptional arts programming by bridging the gap as we continue to seek additional long-term funding to fill the loss of what used to be dependable state and federal funding sources.

Thanks to an incredible matching donation from the Roy M. Malool Family Foundation Fund, you can double your impact with this year’s membership contribution (or triple it, if you are a new member) for any memberships given through 12/31/25.

Our members truly make the difference! Thank you for your support of the Library Arts Center.
