Join us for a special time of winter Plein Air Pai Join us for a special time of winter Plein Air Painting at Heidi's Farm in Goshen⁠
This Saturday, February 21st - 1:00-4:00pm⁠
coordinated by artist Heidi Lorenz⁠
Fee: $8/session for LAC members, $12 for non-members⁠

Heidi’s Farm offers a perfect retreat for artists, surrounded by views of the Monadnock-Sunapee Greenway and picturesque open pastures. The property includes outbuildings, a large barn, and a welcoming house. Inside, you can warm up by the woodstove, enjoy a hot beverage, or use the facilities. If you prefer the comfort of indoor painting, our spacious 25 by 16-foot studio and numerous picture windows provide an inspiring setting, even when the weather is chilly. In addition to beautiful landscapes, you’ll find miniature horses, a cat, several chickens, and a rooster roaming the grounds. These charming subjects offer delightful opportunities for painting alongside breathtaking views of barns, mountains, and pastoral scenes.. ⁠

This drop-in group meets in different inspiring locations throughout the year to draw, paint, sketch or photograph nature in comradery with other outdoor art enthusiasts. This inclusive and welcoming group is designed to engage artists at all levels & to consider the natural effects of light & its ever changing influences on our landscape. Feel free to bring a full plein air kit or for ease & simplicity bring a simple sketchbook with pencil & pen, or anything you like, whatever works in your favor. This drop-in series is an opportunity to create a fun community of artists, to be inspired, creative, adventurous, & to be amidst nature in all seasons throughout the year! ⁠

The Library Arts Center Gallery is hosting this fun, springtime tradition using the iconic Easter Candies: PEEPS!  This annual favorite contest welcomes community members of all ages.  Make an original shoebox-sized diorama with the iconic Easter candies—PEEPS!—as the main characters.  Community members of all ages, businesses, school classrooms, groups & organizations are all encouraged to enter.  Take cues from current events, pop culture, or clever “peeps”  puns—just get creative!⁠

In preparation for Saint Patrick’s Day join us in the studio to create your own needle-felted leprechaun!  Learn all the basic felting skills with one-on-one attention for each student to individualize your creation through color and design choices that make your leprechaun truly one-of-a-kind.  Leave this class, designed for beginner and intermediate students, with a finished project you are proud of, new needle felting skills, and a deepened sense of creative community.  Pre-registration is required.⁠
