What Keeps the Library Arts Center Going?
The Library Arts Center relies heavily on donations, grants, memberships and business sponsorships to continue offering quality exhibits, arts education classes, and peformances throughout the year. The town of Newport does provide an annual stipend and combined with the Endowment Fund interest this accounts for about twenty percent of operating expenses. Thus, grants, fundraisers and business & member donations must hopefully make up the shortfall.
We are truly grateful to all contributors. We thank our current members for their ongoing support. We welcome new members and thank them in advance for their generosity.
