The Library Arts Center is always looking for talented new local artists and crafters (both professional & amateur) to participate. ⁠ Our beautiful gallery space is transformed into an inspiring boutique-style setting filled with handmade items perfect for holiday gifting. We have the perfect class for you. You may recognize Candice LaBree's beautiful work from our Gallery of Gifts Holiday Show, as she has been a participating artisan for more than a decade. Here's you chance to learn this beautiful traditional craft from one of the best!⁠ ⁠ Wool Applique Penny Rug Class⁠ with instructor Candice LaBree⁠ Fri. Sept. 18 (10:00-1:00) and Fri. Sept. 25 (10:00-12:00) - two-day class⁠ Fee: $65⁠ ⁠ �Learn the old-fashioned craft of wool applique Penny Rugs, with a modern twist from the Library Arts Center’s famed Gallery of Gifts wool applique and penny rug super star, Candice Labree. All materials and instruction and pattern needed for the project. Enjoy a welcoming fun studio environment while working with Candice on this project. Projects inspire artists of all ages to get creative, with easy to follow instructions, and all materials are included! Best of all, they are FREE! We produce a limited number of kits each month, so pick yours up soon anytime during gallery hours. Tuesday through Friday, 11am-4pm and Saturday 10am-2pm
