What a wonderful evening of creativity in the stud What a wonderful evening of creativity in the studio! 🎃 Participants learned the art of needle felting with artisan Jennifer Boyd, creating their own beautifully crafted miniature felted pumpkins as part of our Art Camp for Grown-Ups series.⁠ ⁠ We loved seeing each unique piece take shape as participants explored this traditional fiber art technique and enjoyed an evening of making together. 🍂
Farmers’ Market Drop-in Art Project TODAY!⁠ This W Farmers’ Market Drop-in Art Project TODAY!⁠ This Week’s Project: Pine Cone Spinners⁠ Today, Friday, September 18th - Drop in between 3:00-6:00pm⁠ ⁠ Newport Farmers’ Market - Newport Town Common⁠ FREE, and all are welcome! All ages are welcome to participate.⁠ ⁠ As we transition from Summer to Fall, enjoy this fun, nature-centric craft at our final Farmers' Market Drop-in of 2026!⁠ ⁠ Artist Heidi Lorenz leads these fabulous drop-in art projects designed to engage children and adults alike. The art booth at the market is a free art-making experience to remind us we are all artists, and all should take a little time to make something unexpected, playful, and beautiful.⁠ *Children must be accompanied by an adult.

This Saturday! Plein Air Adventure Painting⁠ Tracy This Saturday! Plein Air Adventure Painting⁠ Tracy Memorial Library Gardens | New London, NH⁠ September 19th - 1:00-4:00pm ⁠ ⁠ This Saturday, join our group to paint en plein air at a beautiful garden—originally designed by the Olmsted Brothers—tucked behind Tracy Library. Gentle paths, mixed plantings, and architectural details make this a quiet, intimate painting location. ⁠ ⁠ The Plein Air/Adventure Painting Art Group is about embracing the great outdoors and indulging in the joy of painting plein air, year round! This drop-in class meets in different inspiring locations throughout the summer to paint, sketch or photograph nature in comradery with other outdoor art enthusiasts. This inclusive and welcoming group is designed to engage artists at all levels & to consider the natural effects of light & its ever changing influences on our landscape. Feel free to bring a full plein air kit or for ease & simplicity bring a simple sketchbook with pencil & pen, or anything you like, whatever works in your favor.
