Rebecca Rule 2013

Don’t miss a delightful afternoon with popular New Hampshire humorist and storyteller, Rebecca Rule.  Rebecca will join us for an hour of good, New Hampshire humor on Sunday, February 10th at 3:00pm in the Library Arts Center’s main gallery.  This presentation is free and open to all.

Rebecca Rule is a New Hampshire native, a writer and humorist. She is best known for her live presentation of humorous stories based upon N.H. characters she has known and heard about over the years. Rebecca has entertained audiences from Stratford to Keene, prompting New Hampshire Magazine to name her “Thalia: the Muse of Comedy” in its list of notable N.H. muses.  Her CDs are “Perley Gets a Dumpsticker” and “Better Than a Poke in the Eye.” Her books include the short story collection “The Best Revenge,” a collection of short and long humorous stories; “Could Have Been Worse”;  “Live Free and Eat Pie: A Storyteller’s Guide to New Hampshire”; and “Headin’ Toward the Rhubarb: A New Hampshire Dictionary (well, kinda).”  Rule is also a roster artist with the New Hampshire State Council on the Arts.Source: The New Hampshire State Council on the Arts  http://pierce.state.nh.us/nharts/artsandartists/roster/artistinfo.asp?ArtistID=77
