We had so much fun at this Gallery Drop-in event in late April with crafts to celebrate Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month!⁠
⁠
The projects were so popular that we made them into grab-and-go "art kits" that can be picked up so you can make these projects at home. Choose from making Chinese Dragon Puppets, Indonesian Shadow Puppets, and Japanese Kokeshi Doll Notepads. Projects are designed for artists of all ages and abilities.⁠
Stop by the gallery any time during gallery hours (Tu.-Fri. 11-4 | Sat. 10-2) to pick one up! *while supplies last

Third Tuesday of each month - 11am to 2pm⁠

Intrigued by the possibilities of collage and mixed media techniques? Already captivated, and interested in a communal opportunity to explore and generate new assemblages? Join us for this open collage and water-based mixed media studio group. Chris Scott has been making collage for several years using textiles and paper along with various other materials and will act as facilitator--offering her experience and encouraging an exchange of ideas and knowledge by other members of the group. Bring your own art supplies and work on your current projects alongside a delightful and supportive group of artists. Completely new to mixed media? Chris can provide a short supply list for getting started. Message us or email us for more information.

Music with Friends: for infants, toddlers & preschoolers alongside their parents or grandparents⁠

New families are always welcome!⁠

Experience making music together with your child in this class designed for babies through five year-olds and their parents, grandparents, or caregivers. Music will come to life as everyone sings, dances, drums and claps, experimenting with voices, instruments and movement. Register online at libraryartscenter.org. *Pre-registration is required.
