It's almost here! 🍎🥧 The 52nd Apple Pie Crafts Fai It's almost here! 🍎🥧 The 52nd Apple Pie Crafts Fair is THIS Saturday, August 22nd! Come enjoy 130+ craft vendors, food trucks, the famous apple pie contest and sale, and live music throughout the day. It's going to be a fun-filled day, and you don't want to miss it.⁠ ⁠ We'll see you there. 9:00am-3:00pm on the Newport Town Common. Rain or Shine.⁠
🐦️PRINT, PLAY & CREATE WITH US THIS TUESDAY!⁠ ⁠ Ou 🐦️PRINT, PLAY & CREATE WITH US THIS TUESDAY!⁠ ⁠ Our Under the Tent outdoor art-making series continues Tuesday morning with Bird Collagraph Printing—a fun, hands-on introduction to the magic of printmaking!⁠ ⁠ Create your own folk-art-inspired bird printing plate, then ink it up, roll it with a brayer, and discover the wonderfully imperfect surprise of pulling your very own print. You’ll head home with your original printing plate, your finished artwork, and a new art-making skill to keep exploring.⁠ ⁠ 🎨 UNDER THE TENT: Drop-In Art-Making for All Ages⁠ Tuesday, August 18 | 9:30–10:30am⁠ Library Arts Center Side Lawn⁠ FREE • All ages • No registration needed • All supplies provided⁠ ⁠ Each Tuesday morning this summer, we’re exploring a different medium and making space for creativity, experimentation, and the simple joy of making art together.⁠ ⁠ Stay for the hour or create at your own pace. Kids, grown-ups, grandparents, friends—everyone is invited to make something!
🥧 YOUR PIE MEANS THE WORLD TO US.⁠ ⁠ Every pie don 🥧 YOUR PIE MEANS THE WORLD TO US.⁠ ⁠ Every pie donated to the Apple Pie Crafts Fair is more than something delicious—it’s a gift to the arts in our community.⁠ ⁠ On Saturday, August 22, pies lovingly baked and donated by supporters of the Library Arts Center will fill our pie tent—and 100% of every pie sale directly supports the Arts Center’s enriching arts programs, exhibits, classes, and community events.⁠ ⁠ Will you bake a pie (or two!) for the cause? ❤️⁠ ⁠ Apple is wonderful, but all kinds of pies are welcome! Fruit pies and gluten-free options are especially popular.
