Apple Pie Crafts Fair 2026
The 52nd Annual!
Sat. Aug. 22, 2026 | 9am-3pm | Rain or Shine | Newport Town Common, Newport, NH
The Apple Pie Crafts Fair is an annual event sponsored by the Library Arts Center. Booth fees help to raise funds for the Arts Center’s many exhibits, classes, and community arts programs.
This iconic Fair features an apple pie contest & sale, live music throughout the day, and food vendors. It is open to both amateur and professional artists and craftspeople and will provide an opportunity to exhibit, market, and demonstrate your work. The Apple Pie Crafts Fair attracts 5,000+ people to Newport from a range of surrounding communities.
*PLEASE NOTE: Our process for 2026 is changing! For ALL CRAFTERS, FOOD VENDORS and NON-PROFITS, we are taking applications BEFORE we take payments for registration. *See more info below on this page.
The Apple Pie Crafts Fair is proudly presented by the the Library Arts Center Gallery & Studio–a non-profit community arts organization in the heart of downtown Newport, New Hampshire. Proceeds from Fair booth sales & the pie sale benefit the Arts Center’s exhibits & programs.
NEW Process in 2026! New requirements for ALL VENDORS
As the Fair has grown in popularity, so has the number of applicants (we have over twice as many applicants than will fit at the Fair)! Therefore, in order to keep the Fair a true “CRAFT” Fair, we have created stricter guidelines for what is allowed for handmade items at the Fair, and are making some adjustments to the application process to keep things as fair, balanced, and handmade as possible.
This year’s vendors will FIRST submit an application during a 48-hour window on March 4th/5th, and then will complete their registration and payment after their application has been reviewed and accepted by the selection committee.
In reviewing applications, the selection committee will consider:
1) quality and handmade-nature of crafts
2) filling of designated craft category quotas, and
3) order of application.
*Applicants will be informed about participation and payment within 5 business days after applications close.
All applicants must submit 3-7 photos of both their booth set-up and the items they will be selling for the selection committee to review. The committee may request additional photos, if needed. IF you are not able to upload photos along with your application, please be sure to email photos to applepiecraftsfair@gmail.com no later than Friday, March 6th.
**If photos are NOT provided 1) along with your application OR 2) emailed to the address, your application will not be considered, and we will move on to the next vendor on the list.
NOTE: Past participation does NOT guarantee acceptance in 2026.
