Next Mixed Media Session: This Tues. February 3rd! Next Mixed Media Session: This Tues. February 3rd! ⁠ Mixed Media, Monoprints and Mark-Making⁠ with instructor Jennifer Stark⁠ ⁠ First Tuesday of the Month: 9:00am-12:00noon each session⁠ ⁠ Tuition: $12 per session, all materials included⁠ ⁠ Join us for creative exploration of mixed media, creating monoprints with Gelli plates, printing with paint, paper transfers, using masks, expressive mark making and more. Each session will have a different basic focus, with plenty of time for open-ended exploration with the materials and techniques. Attend each session, or sign up for the ones that work with your schedule; this welcoming creative group will help beginners through professional artists explore materials and techniques to make a variety of papers to use as finished pieces, or materials to work into future mixed media and collage. ⁠ ⁠ Pre-register online at https://libraryartscenter.org/classes-for-adults/
The Library Arts Center's February Mini Art Challe The Library Arts Center's February Mini Art Challenge is now underway!⁠ Make 28 Tiny Art Pieces in 28 Tiny Days⁠ ⁠ It's not too late to join the Library Arts Center for a month of tiny, joyful art making. Participants of all ages and abilities, from kids to professional artists, are encouraged to join in this art challenge to create a tiny art piece each day of the shortest month of the year. No pressure, no perfection: just a daily practice of showing up, playing with color, and letting small works lead to big growth. Different prompts each day will help to guide you in your creative challenge (or you can paint whatever you like!)
